Sara Simmons

I am Sara Simmons. I love to read just about anything. I love to write many different type of books. There isn't really a specific genre that appeals to me as a writer. It really depends on what is going on in my life at the time I suppose. I used to be part of the writing partnership Serenity Twins, we signed with a publisher in July of 2014 but quickly realized that wasn't for us. We put out Finding Atlantis and Key to the Kingdom We did put out a couple of other books self published after that, re-releasing Finding Atlantis Part One, re-releasing Key to the Kingdom, then putting out Finding Atlantis Part Two and Texas Rose, but in April 2015 the writing partnership dissolved. I started Glory Roads Publishing in August of 2015 to help people self publish and to self publish my own work, I took my stories from the Finding Atlantis books and released them under the book Triunity, that book does not include any work done by my previous writing partner or any work that we wrote together. I have since handed over the reigns of Glory Road Publishing to someone else so that I could focus on what I love the most, WRITING. I signed with King Publishing group in Jan of 2016 and Training for the Hood was released Feb 26, 2015. I am blessed to be working with such talented writers, editors, and publishers. They are an amazing group of people. It was the best decision I could have made for my writing career. I currently reside in Detroit Michigan with my husband and three daughters. I have a lot of support from my family as well and just really enjoy what I do. I cant really say when I started writing because I think that I have always wrote. Poems, short stories, plays, articles for the local paper in journalism class, always writing something.
